Known as the “King of the Bootleggers:” George Remus was a Cincinnati lawyer who created one of the most successful bootlegging operations of the Prohibition era (1920-1933). George Remus is made at a historic 170-year-old distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. There are two types of George Remus - the straight bourbon being the flagship whiskey. The George Remus style is high- rye, and relies on their expertise in aging and blending whiskies.

Tasting Notes: 

Sweet with notes of maple and vanilla. Hint of vanilla and a sweet - yet - characteristic rye flavor. Smooth, long finish, giving way to the subtle vanilla sweetness. Charred American White Oak barrels
